    The Township of Cavan Monaghan is a rural area which covers an area of approximately 308 km2, and includes several small hamlets and villages including Bailieboro, Cavan, Fraserville, Ida, Mount Pleasant, Springville, Five Mile Turn, and the Historical Village of Millbrook.


    The Township of Cavan Monaghan is a small rural community with a big city heart.  Our charming community is conveniently located just 20 km south west of the City of Peterborough, in Peterborough County and only 90 minutes north east of the City of Toronto.
